My layout design service zooms in on the interior aspects of a home, such as layout, circulation, storage, light, and furniture placement. I pull these elements together to transform a space to meet the functional and aesthetic needs of its users.
How do you get the measurements?
Very often, it is possible to find a historic set of plans on planning portals. When this isn’t available, you can find a local surveyor to measure up. Alternatively, I can talk you through taking the measurements yourself.
If you are local to Berkshire, UK, I can do a basic survey to gather the necessary information.
What if I don't like the designs?
The design process is a collaborative one. Working in blocks of design time means a concept will not be developed far without a check-in with you to tick off the ideas that work for you and remove the ones that don’t.
How far do you travel?
I am based in Wokingham, Berkshire. My in-person design consultations are usually around the Thames Valley.
Do you do home surveys?
Yes. For projects near me in Berkshire, you can book me to do a basic survey of your home to gather all the information needed to draw up an accurate set of floorplans.
Do you do kitchen design?
Yes! The kitchen often needs the most consideration for the perfect balance of form and function. Kitchen design is where I started on my design journey, so I have a good understanding of the industry and how it works to get you the best results.
How long does it take to get the designs?
You will receive your designs back within 7 working days from the initial design consultation.
Can I get paper print out of the plans for my builder?
Yes. I can organise sending printed A3 plans to you upon request for a fee.
